If you ask my family and friends they will tell you I practice what I preach but I am not the food police or perfect.  I believe in bioindividuality and that there is no one perfect diet for all.  I practice respect for where someone is at in their health journey.  I am absolutely passionate about healthy habits but I also appreciate good food and wine and balancing good habits with having a good time.  I have had a variety of experiences in my 30 years in the health and wellness industry that started with weight loss coaching after I graduated with a degree in psychology in 1988.   I grew up in Long Island, NY and came to the Boston area for a dietetic intership at Brigham and Women's Hospital after completing my nutrition studies in 1990.  I fell in love with Boston and after receiving my nutrition credentials, I remained at Brigham and Women's as a clinical dietitian for 5 years.  In the years after I offered private nutrition consulting as well as worked in a test kitchen and taught cooking classes at adult education.  I also assisted my husband in building his Chiropractic practice in Beacon Hill.  In 2011, I owned and operated a women's gym that combined small group personal training with nutrition.  After a few years, I returned to my roots in weight loss and nutrition coaching.  During this time I also earned a certification in holistic health coaching and currently completed 2 year of studies in applied functional medicine for coaching.  

My husband and I have two wonderful children, both now in college, and a dog named Chester.

I enjoy time with family and friends, travel, fitness, cooking and eating good food, and  especially love to spend time on, in, or near the ocean or water.

I have a very practical approach to nutrition & lifestyle coaching and understand what it takes to implement change.  This helps me make my recommendations "real".  I am not someone to just provide a list of WHAT to do, but also help you on HOW to do it.  I would like to help you be as healthy as you possibly can be.  Let me show you!  We can work together in person if you are local, or otherwise virtually by a combination of phone, email and even video.  Take the first step-Give me a call and lets gets started!
